Drum roll please…..
YES…..IT’S HERE!!!!!! Blooming into Mindfulness: How the Universe Used a Garden, Cancer, and Carpools to Teach Me That Calm Is the New Happy is live on Amazon!
Well, the paperback version at least. The ebook won’t be up for another ten days or so, but I’m still putting this in the “January 2016 launch goal complete” category. Snowmaggedon 2016 delayed delivery of the test copy, but I finally tracked it down in the UPS shipping center. And it looks GREAT!
And no, those are not my hands holding it. I use my fingernails for power tools, so I appreciate my hair stylist Claire standing in as hand model. BUT THAT IS MY BOOK!!!!!
The formal PR campaign won’t start until the ebook is finalized in a couple of weeks, but for those of you who have asked “When can I buy your book?” the answer is TODAY!!!!!
I’m going to keep this short, since I don’t want to distract you from clicking here to head right over to Amazon. (If you’re an ebook person, I’m sorry about the additional wait.)
Many of you have asked what you can do to support my little indie author/publisher operation. The first step is buying the book (thank you in advance)! If you enjoy it and could pull a few kind words together for an Amazon customer review, that would go a long way to boost the book’s visibility. Sharing the book with your circles would be another huge help!
A few of you have told me you know people who would benefit from a little more mindfulness in their lives. Now is the time to buy this gift for them! I already have a few early reader reviews up on the Amazon page, which give a good overview of what you can expect from the book. (Thank you early readers!!)
But I’ll sign off for now, with the promise that I’ll be back in touch soon with announcements of launch events and other developments. SO EXCITED!!!! Thank you SO VERY MUCH for your support!!!

As Mindfulness Coach, I highly recommend Blooming into Mindfulness. Martha has transformed her life by developing a mindful practice and is now a true Master of Mindfulness. I was so impressed that I passed the book onto my wife Maureen. This is what she had to say:
“I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I tuned into many of Marthas’ descriptive stories feeling as though I was sitting listening to a dear friend. Martha’s journey from a busy unhappy lady to finding her way through mindfulness practices to the peaceful, loving nurturing person who ‘bloomed’ forth took me on a reflective tour of how my own mindful lifestyle has transformed me. I felt Martha was digging deep into what makes a woman tick and she expressed her emotions truthfully. I sometimes felt the raw pain of those emotions as if they were my own. Having completed the book within 24 hours since picking it up, I feel I know Martha on a personal level which is kind of weird but also lovely at the same time. Well written, beautifully presented and a most enjoyable book, probably of more interest to women than to men.”

Thank you SO much for your kind and gracious review, John and Maureen! Your mindfulness expertise combined with Maureen’s perspective from our shared “sisterhood” experience makes your feedback even more valuable. John, your book Mindful Actions has been a great help to me as well, providing practical tips to maintain and deepen my practice. Thank you again! With gratitude, Martha
