Yes, I’m taking the unusual step of sending out two posts in one week! But I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss my new Huffington Post piece on how to approach tomorrow’s Women’s March on Washington with a mindful perspective.
Check out “Mindful Marching: What I’ll Bring to the Women’s March on Washington” here: http://bit.ly/mindfulmarching
And if you’d like me to carry you along on my poster, send me your photo ASAP! (Sorry for the late notice. I spent Inauguration Day at an all-day silent meditation retreat focused on kindness and compassion.)
Onward!

Dear Martha,
although I read your posts frequently I rarely leave a comment. But this time I have to write. It was so good to see
“The Women’s March on Washington”. A number of German TV and radio channels reported about this demonstration several times in their daily news!!!
All my friends I talked to here in Germany were so stunned that Donald Trump won the election and we could not believe how many women supported him after all the things he said about women. It was important not only for people in the US but also abroad to see so many of you protesting.
It is always good to read your posts,
fondly,
Elke

Thank you SO much for the lovely comment, Elke! It was an amazing day today. This election has mobilized people in a way that I’ve never seen before. It was inspiring and gratifying to be part of this historic demonstration. I am hopeful that down the road something positive will come from this election, not the least of which is proving that every vote counts. Hugs and gratitude to you, my friend. ~ Martha
